Meet Maribel! She was born and raised in El Paso, TX. She has an Associate's Degree in Animal Biology and has been a veterinary technician for the past 14 years. Maribel has a daughter and two rescue Frenchies of her own! She absolutely loves smushy-faced breeds!
She is fluent in both English and Spanish, especially when it comes to medical terminology, if there is ever a need for a vet visit. Maribel has a vast knowledge of animal medicine and is comfortable administering medications and injections if needed. She loves all types of animals and is not afraid to get her hands dirty!
Mr. Miles has two favorite hobbies: sleeping and pretending to be tough. He earned the title Zen Master because he literally spends 22 hours a day "meditating" in his mama's bed, usually with his tongue hanging out. You might not see a lot of Mr. Miles, but his watchful and wise eyes are always there, so you doggos better behave!
Miles is a hound mix that Ms. Alex rescued when she lived in Fairfax, Virginia. He's been part of the family for almost 12 of his 13 years. This hound is terrified of cameras, storms, bright lights and loud noises. His mom is lucky to have gotten a picture of him to use as inspiration for the D'Lux Dog Care logo. Miles much prefers the tranquil vibe of his yoga room during the day, so if your pooch is a fan of naps, they'll be besties.
In the summer of 2019, Miles was tired of being a spoiled only child, so he begged his mom to adopt a furry Irish Wolfhound mix puppy from a local rescue . . . NOT! Mr. Floyd is still "all puppy" and he is ready to be your dog's favorite playmate. He's full of energy and loves playing fetch. His favorite color (if he could see colors) is neon yellow and he has a stellar tennis/squeaky ball collection.
This doggo is named after Pink Floyd because he was born on 4/20 and his foster mom had a great sense of humor! He's definitely into naps and earned the nickname "camel," not for his wiry blonde locks, but for his ability to drink giant bowls of water in a single gulp. The security gig was a natural fit for Mr. Floyd and looking tough isn't hard for this guy! But in reality, he's just a gentle giant.
Lawyer, Entrepreneur and Influencer Alexandria Serra has one love other than being a boss babe: doggos. She's been taking her dogs to daycare and having an in-home dog sitter (read: nanny) for years. With her super busy schedule, she was finding it hard to get her pups to vet appointments and grooming, to daycare and play dates. Then came Destiny and Maribel to the rescue!
Ms. Alex knew that there were so many pet owners like her; the moms and dads who treat their furbabies like "traditional" children. So, she and the gals brainstormed a way to bring luxury pet care of the El Paso market. And the rest is history!
